Need to replace the faithful old s3.
Any recommendations - am looking at Nokia Lumix, Sony Experia and the alcatel.
Please don't ramble on about apple products, I'm not a gullible cunt.

LG G4- yes, its a big phone, I had iphone 5 before, but it has a great screen, 32gb internal memory + up to 128gb sd card. Battery lasts more than a day + is removeable (you can get a spare for around a tenner) So, unless you wear skinny jeans, is ideal.

I keep socks in my car.
Right next to my hiking boots.
They get used about every ten years.

I've got a z3 compact an iPhone 6 and my wife the s6 edge all good, but I do like the Sony best, good battery good camera and I like the Walkman, not as elegant as the others but you put a cover on it anyway. The iPhone is the worse but it's all marginal with the high end.

I've had a G3 for eighteen months now. Brilliant phone but I'd never recommend it to anyone as the battery life is so awful. However it does have a replaceable battery so if you're happy to take a spare batt around on a Leo Sayer then you'll get a day of use out of it.

If you're not too bothered about the latest features get yourself a galaxy S4 or an LG G3, both are more than capable should you need to ever use modern features but are cheap as chips because they're the previous models.

A phone's a phone. All pretty much of a muchness. People who champion a particular brand of phone are just weird cunts.

Dan, I'm of an age where I don't need anything too fancy.
I'm not a photographer I'm not into social media I don't send/receive more than a dozen texts per week I DO make and receive phone calls though

If you're looking below flagship level... I bought a Samsung Galaxy A5 for my missus. Really nice phone - good screen, pretty fast, looks pretty in white, wafer thin. And £200 unlocked from Argos. Nothing not to like.

I have just upgraded to an s6 I like it, not a massive departure from my old s4 though. Didn't get the edge as from what I read it's a bit of a gimmick and the edge can be fiddly.
